The Problem
Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. It is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and can be treated in a few minutes by a nurse when caught early. Yet 350,000 women die from it every year, more than the number of women who die from pregnancy related causes.
Traditional screening requires labs, specialists, expensive equipment, and weeks for results.
This infrastructure doesn't exist where most women live. Despite being a WHO global health priority with a goal to screen 1 billion women by 2030, we're nowhere close—because the tools don't exist to reach them at scale.
